battery no cell coverage

In settings under battery usage there's something that says no cell coverage is using over 50% of my battery power, how do i lower it a little?. Anybody else seeing "no cell coverage" eating a large portion of their battery in the usage stats? this morning started with 100% and at 4pm had 39% with 2 hours of. There may be holes where the service provider does not have cell sites or where the any lack of coverage is usually not always keep your phone battery.
